We serve residential and commercial customers throughout Southern California.
Where do you provide air conditioning services?
We are based in Riverside, California and proudly serve all of Southern California, including the Inland Empire, Riverside County, Orange County, Los Angeles County, and San Diego County. If you’re unsure whether we service your area, give us a call.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We are a fully licensed HVAC contractor with the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) #1029610 and carry liability insurance coverage. AC Installation
How do I know if I need a new air conditioner or just a repair?
A repair is usually the right call if your system is under 10 years old, the repair cost is less than half the cost of a new unit, and the breakdown is an isolated issue. Replacement makes more sense if your system is 12–15 years or older, you’ve had multiple breakdowns in recent years, your energy bills have increased significantly, or your system uses R-22 refrigerant (now discontinued). Our technicians will give you an honest assessment — we’ll never push a replacement if a repair is the better value.
What size air conditioner do I need for my home?
Sizing is based on a Manual J load calculation, which accounts for your home’s square footage, ceiling height, insulation, number of windows, local climate data, and sun exposure. In Southern California’s hot inland climate, proper sizing is critical. An undersized unit will run constantly and never cool effectively. An oversized unit will short-cycle, cause humidity problems, and wear out faster. We always perform a proper load calculation before recommending a system size.
What brands of air conditioners do you install?
We install equipment from leading manufacturers including Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Goodman, and Bryant. Our technicians are factory-trained on multiple brands, and we’ll recommend the best fit for your home, budget, and long-term reliability needs.
What is a SEER rating and why does it matter?
SEER stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio. It measures how efficiently an air conditioner converts electricity into cooling. The higher the SEER rating, the less electricity the unit uses to produce the same amount of cooling. As of 2023, new residential air conditioners installed in the Southwest United States must meet a minimum SEER2 rating of 15. High-efficiency units can reach SEER ratings of 20–26. A higher-SEER system costs more upfront but significantly reduces your monthly energy bills — especially important in Southern California where ACs run hard from April through October.
How long does AC installation take?
A standard residential central air conditioner replacement typically takes one full day. New installations that require ductwork can take two to three days. We’ll give you a clear timeline before work begins.
Do you offer financing for new AC systems?
Yes. We offer flexible financing options It is really fast and easy to apply. Don’t let cost stand between you and a comfortable, efficient home. Ask us about current financing promotions when you request your estimate or visit this page to learn about financing Click Here
Are there rebates available for new AC systems in California?
We have discounts, and there are also rebates that are often given by local utilities. We’ll help you identify every rebate and incentive you may quality for.
AC Repair
Why is my air conditioner not cooling?
The most common reasons an AC stops cooling are a dirty air filter, low refrigerant (due to a leak), a frozen evaporator coil, a faulty compressor, a failed capacitor or contactor, or a thermostat malfunction. Some of these — like a clogged filter — are DIY fixes. Others require a licensed technician. If your AC is running but not producing cold air, call us for a diagnostic visit.
Why is my AC blowing warm air?
This usually points to low refrigerant, a compressor issue, or a problem with the condenser (the outdoor unit). It can also happen if the system is in “fan only” mode on the thermostat. Check your thermostat settings first. If settings are correct and the air is still warm, you need a technician.
Why does my air conditioner keep shutting off?
This is called “short cycling” and it means the system is turning on and cooling briefly, then shutting off before completing a full cooling cycle. Causes include a dirty filter, low refrigerant, a frozen evaporator coil, an oversized system, or a failing compressor. Short cycling puts excessive wear on the compressor — the most expensive part of the system — so it should be addressed promptly.
